Hello everyone! I am a Master student at the University of Leipzig majoring in Conference Interpreting (Consecutive and Simultaneous Interpreting, German-English-Russian). I have been learning English for 20 years and tutoring privately for the past 5 years. My extensive international experience and numerous academic stays abroad have enabled me to approach the fluency of a native-speaker. I have an IELTS language certificate recognised worldwide (Band 8.5 out of 9) and therefore also help my students prepare for IELTS, TOEFL, CAE and other international exams. Moreover, as I have got a Bachelor's degree in Economics, I also teach Business English and Commercial Correspondence. All lessons are given in English, so that students can fully immerse themselves in a foreign language. Depending on the goals of a particular student (improving speaking skills, grammar, writing competences, international exams etc.) , I mostly use Oxford University Press and Cambridge University educational textbooks and training manuals, along with listening comprehension audio files, adapted English texts and videos. I focus on identifying knowledge gaps and closing them, as well as covering all aspects of foreign language communication, always listening to the wishes of the students.
